This was a typical 1950's styled house with many smaller rooms divided by walls, some of them structural. Terry and Sylvia wanted to get rid of them all for a completely open layout providing much more living space and continuity between areas. Hauswerks did all the plan drawings for the design of the interior renovation, and provided architectural expertise with the addition of steel beams to reinforce the structure after removing load-bearing walls.
This was a major gut and remodel done on a very limited 4-month timeframe, yet we didn't cut back on key details and amenities like hidden power shades in the bay windows, cantilevered front entry, powered flip down TV in bar area, and computer-controlled lighting.
